Welcome to the Åland Glimrar/Sparkling Åland event! Stroll around the Christmas markets and make unique Åland-made Christmas gift discoveries. Enjoy a cup of warm mulled wine with friends and family and let the Christmas spirit envelop you.

Åland has a long tradition of Christmas markets. We wanted to put all Christmas events in the same basket and promote the fact that Åland is indeed an attractive tourist destination even in winter.
We want to shine a light on local producers, farms and their unique products. Like a lighthouse out at sea, they are easier to find during Åland Glimrar.
