The Jan Karlsgården Christmas Market in Sund is the oldest and largest Christmas market in Åland. The market abounds in local crafts, bread, jam, juice, fish, handmade candles and much more!
Give your wish list to an elf, enjoy the songs of the Lucia choir and learn about the Christmas celebrations of bygone days.
When you are finished, go for a meal at the Smakbyn restaurant or visit the Kastelholm Castle and Vita Björn prison museum.
There is bus transportation from the city.

Welcome to two Christmas markets on the market square in Mariehamn. Saturday 2.12 and Wednesday 6.12 at 10 am to 4 pm both days.
Here are nice Christmas gifts to buy, including crafts, knitting, crochet, garlands, locally produced products and food, and much more.
Santa Claus is on site on Saturday and receives wish lists from the children. Santa will happily pose for photos!

Little Christmas in Grelsby

Johannas hembakta is a small, authentic stone oven bakery and café in Grelsby. Here, sourdough bread is baked from local, organic flour from Överängs Kvarn, as well as buns and cakes made with genuine ingredients and a lot of passion.
For Christmas, holiday-inspired bread and buns have been baked and the café serves Santa Claus porridge with ham or cheese sandwiches made from the traditional wheat bread (hemvete).
Welcome to Rosteriverket to see how coffee is roasted and get a tasting at the same time.
On site you can explore the range of coffee varieties and take a closer look at all the coffee accessories. They have also developed a taste box that is sold for Christmas containing 3 varieties (From, Knäckt, Chockad) of coffee with different origins, roasting and flavor profiles.

On Saturday, several vendors will be present for a small Christmas market in the former ferry terminal. You will find craftsmen selling their handmade soaps, honey products and ceramics. On Sunday, the shop is open as usual and you can buy Åland handicrafts until 3 pm.
Hamnboden is a shop with many different Åland handicrafts, knitting, crochet, jewellery, sweets, ceramics, woodwork and art etc.

In the Amalia’s Limonadfabrik rural shop, you can purchase all the products made in the factory.
Their products include the Swedish julmust drink, mulled wine and soft drinks, fine and tasty chocolate products from Mercedes Chocolaterie. Put the products on the Christmas table or give away as a gift!
If you want you can stay for a warm cup of mulled wine, a coffee and fika in their cozy café.

Here you can buy Christmas gifts for the drink enthusiast from your local microbrewery. Or why not stock up on drinks for the Christmas table?
For sale you will find all the brewery’s beers, their cider and the Köldknäpp ice cider, which is made in a limited edition every year. From local apples of course.

Christmas market at the Labbas Homestead Museum in Storby

The cosy Christmas market at the Labbas Homestead Museum offers a variety of handicrafts, Christmas food and home-baked goods.
For sale are, among other things, crafts, wreaths, Christmas candy, home bakes, etc. Coffee inside the manor house by the warming fire, mulled wine and hot dogs outside. The association sells lottery tickets.
Please note that cash payment applies, so feel free to bring small denominations.

We sell crafts, sheepskin and meat. Take the opportunity to have a coffee and talk sheep with us, pet sheep and capture the Christmas feeling with a small, lovely Christmas market in the countryside.
Christmas market and second hand shopping at Hammarbo

Coffee service with Santa’s porridge, ham sandwiches and mulled wine “glögg” in the small hall.
In the large hall there are sales of various crafts, pastries and Christmas sweets.
Atmospheric Christmas music is played in the room.
Åland Hästupplevelser - Horse back riding

Welcome to a half-day riding tour with Åland horse experiences. On the 3 h tour we will stop in Bergen’s farmhouse and enjoy some local (Axgan) treats. All participants should have good riding experience.
The tour starts on Sunday at 10 am from Strömbolstadvägen 6, 22520 Kastelholm.
Price: 125 euro/person
