During five days on the 6th – 10th of December. Ålands Slöjd & Konsthantverk (Association of Arts and Crafts in the Aland Islands) organises a Christmas market for quality products at the Zeipels shopping centre.
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase uniqe christmas gifts made in Åland.

We sell crafts, sheepskin and meat. Take the opportunity to have coffee and talk sheep with us, pet sheep and enjoy the Christmas spirit with a small, lovely Christmas market in the countryside.

Germundö Gård farm has a small atmospheric Christmas market where visitors who have chickens, sheep, horses, rabbits, etc. can purchase organic feed, among other things. They also sell birdfeed, which is perfect for this time of the year. At the market you will also find handicrafts and you can enjoy a cup of warm mulled wine with some delicious home baked goods.
At the market there are also crafts, beauty products, honey, sheepskin etc. You can also enjoy mulled wine, coffee with snacks and tasty waffles.
On the farm you will find flour and grain products milled at Överängs Kvarn, the grain is grown at Germundö Gård.
Christmas at Jomala Gård
The 4H-farm and Veteran tractors organization, organise a day in the spirit of Christmas. Come and see the animals and tractors and enjoy the Christmas spirit. Participate in Christmas craft-making or take photos of your children in the Christmas-themed photo corner. Go for a ride in a tractor-drawn hay cart or take part in a trivia game on the nature trail.
We serve christmas porridge with ham sandwiches, mulled wine, gingerbread biscuits and waffles, and we also sell sheaves of oats for birds. There are other vendors selling their products, as well.
Hamnboden

Traditional Christmas market where you will find a variety of artisan dishes, knitwear, crocheted products, sheep skins, wreaths, sweets, ceramics, wooden crafts and art.
An array of Åland delicacies, cheeses, meat, sausages, marmalade, sea buckthorn products, bread, honey, apple mulled wine, jams, cakes, spices and chili products
Sottunga Christmas Market
- 11 am to 4 pm
- Town Hall, Sottunga town centre
The Sottunga Christmas market offers local food, crafts and art to admire and for purchase. There will also be food and drink to consume on site, as well as the annual Christmas goat raffle.
A ferry departs from Långnäs on the Åland mainland at 10:30 am and arrives at the port of Sottunga at 11:40 am. The ferry leaves Sottunga at 4:05 pm to return to Långnäs. Advanced booking is recommended, especially if you are travelling by car.
Christmas at Valborg

Christmas market at Valborg organised by the Lemland Youth Association. Sale of home baked treats, handicrafts and Christmas wreaths. The youth association will serve porridge and ham sandwiches as well as glögg and gingerbread.
Santa has announced he is coming and children have the opportunity to leave their wish list for him.

Johannas Hembakta

Johannas Hembakta is a small, authentic stone oven bakery and café in Grelsby. Here, sourdough bread is baked from local, organic flour from Överängs Kvarn, as well as buns and cakes made with genuine ingredients and a lot of passion.
For Christmas, holiday-inspired bread and buns have been baked and the café serves Santa Claus porridge with ham or cheese sandwiches made from the traditional wheat bread (hemvete).
At the Mickels farm in Ödkarby you will find a cosy little market selling mulled wine and gingerbread, coffee and cake, bread, handicrafts, carpets, sheepskins and more.
While you are there, you can also meet santa, see the fire brigade’s new fire truck, eat barbecue sausages and ride a pony.

In the Amalia’s Limonadfabrik rural shop, you can purchase all the products made in the factory.
Their products include the Swedish julmust drink, mulled wine and soft drinks. fine and tasty chocolate products from Mercedes Chocolaterie and home-baked buns and bread from Johanna’s Hembakta. Put the products on the Christmas table or give away as a gift!
If you want you can stay for a warm cup of mulled wine, a coffee and fika in their cozy café.

Welcome to a half-day riding tour with Åland horse experiences. On the 3h long tour we will stop in Bergen’s farmhouse and enjoy some local (Axgan) treats. All participants should have good riding experience.
